These terms govern the services provided by Synthark Mobility Group Ltd. ("Synthark", "we", "us") at our workshop locations and through bookings made on synthark.pro. By using the site or visiting the workshop, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 14 days. Prices include VAT at the prevailing UK rate. Where a written quote has been issued, we will not exceed the quoted figure without your prior agreement, even if the work proves more complex than anticipated.
2. Bookings and cancellations
Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge up to 12 hours before the slot. Cancellations within 12 hours, or no-shows, are billed a £25 holding fee that can be redeemed against any future visit within 90 days.
3. Authorisation of work
By leaving a vehicle with us, you authorise the agreed work and any incidental movement of the vehicle within our workshop premises. Additional work discovered during the job will be quoted separately and only carried out with your express agreement, by phone or in writing.
4. Workmanship guarantee
Fitting work is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which we will administer on your behalf where applicable. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by accident, modification, neglect or use beyond a part's intended specification.
5. Customer-supplied parts
We will fit customer-supplied parts where we are satisfied they meet manufacturer specification. The 12-month workmanship guarantee continues to apply to the fitting work, but we cannot warrant the part itself, and an additional supply-only handling fee may apply.
6. Vehicle storage
Vehicles left on site after the agreed completion time are stored at the owner's risk. After 7 calendar days a daily storage fee of £15 applies. After 30 calendar days, we reserve the right to apply for an order to recover unpaid charges through the small claims process.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the work we have carried out. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
8. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please tell us within 14 days so we can put it right. Persistent disputes can be referred to The Motor Ombudsman, of which we are a signatory member. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We update these terms occasionally. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the most recent revision at the top.
