How we handle the personal data you share with us at the workshop and on this website.

Last updated: 6 May 2026.

This policy describes how Synthark Mobility Group Ltd. ("Synthark", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to synthark.pro and customers of the workshops operated under the Synthark Auto Center brand.

Data we collect

  • Contact details you give us through the booking form: name, email, phone number and the message you send.
  • Vehicle details such as registration plate, mileage and service history, so that we can produce accurate quotes and maintain a service file.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, gathered through privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies.

How we use your data

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, to confirm appointments and, where you have asked us to, to remind you when a service is approaching. Vehicle data forms your service file, which helps us spot patterns over time and reduces the chance of unnecessary work. Technical data is used to keep the site running and to fix problems.

Lawful basis

We rely on the lawful bases of consent (for marketing reminders), contract (for fulfilling a service you have booked) and legitimate interests (for the running of the site and for record-keeping required by tax law).

How long we keep data

Booking enquiries that don't lead to a service are held for 12 months and then deleted. Customer service files are kept for 7 years to satisfy UK tax record-keeping rules, after which they are securely destroyed.

Sharing

We never sell or rent personal data. We share it only with: our hosting provider (UK servers), our accountancy firm (for invoicing) and HMRC where legally required. Staff with access to your data have signed confidentiality agreements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
